What we do for our employees

We realize that employees are the backbone of our business. Knowing the contracting business as only a contractor can, we feel that we have an understanding into what is has traditionally been lacking for individuals who participate in this segment of the work force. We realize that health and the care of it is one of the most important things to people universally. And even those who are young and do not feel much need for health care, most likely have some thoughts of concern in case of accident or injury. Another thing that we feel is important to people is retirement savings. Most of us have probably heard that social security will not adequately provide for us when we retire if it is even available. For this reason, we offer a matching contribution to an Individual Retirement Account (IRA) which allows us to give something additional to our employees tax free, and at the same time encourage them to save a little for their future.

Health plan

Our health plan is a group plan which entitles all our employees and families to full coverage without a physical and without regard to medical history. Health insurance isn’t cheap, but we have made a commitment to cover 100% of our employee’s health insurance premiums. Family members can be added at employee cost. We currently have three options, a high premium/low deductible option, as well as two higher deductible options with a Health Savings Account (HSA) option.

Retirement savings

We currently offer up to 3% matching of employee contributions to a Simple IRA account. The investment options are provided by Fidelity and come with no cost advice of a financial advisor.
